The Pembroke & Area Airport is a proud community partner.

In June 2011, the Airport hosted Expo 150: The County of Renfrew's 150th Anniversary celebration. This four-day event attracted over 40,000 people to the Airport grounds. As part of the aviation exhibit, the Airport had aircraft on display from throughout the region including Classic Wings from Smiths Falls. The Airport has also assisted CFB Petawawa with training needs for military pilots. Exercises take place frequently at the Airport that further equip the Forces with aircraft preparation. The Airport is proud to be a supportive partner in these exercises.
