Walk The Runway: September 2nd

Walk The Runway on Wednesday, September 2nd

Come out and walk the mile of runway in support of Project Runway, our repaving fundraiser. Choose a 1.4km or 4.15km route. The runway will be lit up at dusk so you can walk it at night or come out earlier and walk it in the daylight. Here are the details:

About The Runway

The runway is 5,000 feet long (one mile) and 100 feet wide so we can easily accommodate physical distancing rules. Masks will not be required during the walk. The event is being held rain or shine and proceeds will go to help repave the runway. For more on Project Runway, click here. Emergency aircraft landing protocols will also be in place (if required).

Questions?

Please direct any questions to Jennifer Layman by email at marketing@flycyta.ca or phone/text to 613-312-7824. While the airport is operating, the airport terminal building is not open to the public at this time so this is your easiest way to have questions answered about Walk YTA.
